BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WV News) — WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital has announced the addition of two cutting-edge imaging services: PET/CT and Prostate MRI.
These advanced technologies provide enhanced diagnostic capabilities for early cancer detection, critical for improving patient outcomes.
Early detection plays a key role in successful treatment, and the new imaging services at St. Joseph's Hospital are designed to help detect and stage cancer more accurately.
"While treatments vary, early detection is one of the most effective ways to ensure positive outcomes from a cancer diagnosis," Tom Nestor, WVU Medicine St. Joseph’s Hospital director of imaging services and mission integration, said. "That is why here at St. Joseph’s Hospital, we are very blessed and excited to be able to offer some new advanced imaging procedures right here in Buckhannon."
