RIPLEY, W.Va. (WV News) — WVU Medicine Jackson General Hospital welcomes John Mani, MD, a highly skilled and experienced urologist, to its team of medical professionals. Dr. Mani’s arrival brings advanced urological expertise to our community, offering patients access to specialized care without the need to travel far from home.
Dr. Mani has built a remarkable career in urological medicine, dedicating decades to service, education, and leadership. He earned his medical degree at West Virginia University and completed his internship and residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. Subsequently, he served as a Flight Surgeon with the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, KY.
Dr. Mani is board certified by the American Board of Urology and h held prominent positions, including Chief of Urology and Director of the Surgical ICU at Moncrief Army Hospital. He practiced with Kanawha Urology Associates, Inc., and most recently served as a urologist at Thomas Memorial Hospital, becoming part of the WVU Medicine system. Dr. Mani is a proud member of the American Urological Association, the West Virginia State Medical Association, and the Kanawha County Medical Society.
