CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) – With weather still slowing things down statewide, Robert C. Byrd’s Logan Boyce and Bridgeport’s Haylee Pryor took advantage of their opportunities.
Boyce scored 25 points against East Fairmont on Tuesday, then followed that up with 33 points against regional opponent Keyser.
Pryor put in 18 points in a victory over county foe Liberty.
The pair are the Graham-Simon Plumbing/WV News Athletes of the Week.
Other performances of note:
South Harrison’s Cooper Sanders scored 13 points versus Doddridge County.
Liberty’s Baustin Bowers poured in 26 points against Buckhannon-Upshur and 18 at Lincoln.
Robert C. Byrd’s Cam Newsuan put in 12 points and seven rebounds against East Fairmont.
Bridgeport’s Jack Spatafore tallied 17 points against North Marion.
Bridgeport’s Landon Sanders scored 17 points versus North Marion and 21 more at Lewis County.
Lincoln’s AJ Bart put in 15 points against Liberty.
Notre Dame’s Brayden Helmick scored 14 points versus Wheeling Central.
Lincoln’s Aundrea Rockwell scored 14 points against Lincoln.
Bridgeport’s Danika Prescott had 12 points and nine rebounds against Liberty.
Lincoln’s Sadie Adams and Brystol Toth each put in 11 points against Musselman.
