FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WV News) — Singer-songwriter Carol Markstrom will perform at Fairmont State University’s Wallman Hall Theater at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27. The event, presented by the Wesley Foundation, encourages attendees to make a suggested donation of $10 at the door, with all proceeds benefiting the foundation’s initiatives.

Markstrom, based in Tucson, Arizona, is known for her Americana, folk and Western roots music. Her album “Mile After Mile” earned the Western Album of the Year award from the Academy of Western Artists. Her latest release, “Seekers,” features 12 original songs inspired by Native American history and culture, with some tracks receiving critical acclaim.
Beyond her music, Markstrom is an author and scholar with a deep interest in Native American history.
The concert will take place in the Wallman Hall Theater on the Fairmont State campus. The Wesley Foundation focuses on student spiritual growth and community engagement.
