Kid’s Club at the Jackson County Public Library in Ravenswood at 4 p.m. Kids get the chance to talk with their peers about things that may be concerning them. Refreshments will be served.
February 3
The West Virginia University Extension Service Committee will meet on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 5 p.m. at the Jackson County Extension Office located at 157 Co. Rd 33/18, Cottageville. Purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the Annual County Commission and Board of Education MOAs and Personnel MOA.

A Magical Journey for A Cherished Childhood, a free event at Ripley High School on Saturday, February 8 at 6 p.m. Presentation by Jim Strawn on the benefits of delaying the use of smartphones and social media. Please RSVP on the event page “Beyond the Screen (rescheduled)”

The Jackson County Beekeepers Association will meet on February 8 at the Jackson County Library, 208 N Church Street, Ripley, WV from 10 a.m. to noon. Anyone interested in beekeeping is welcome. For more information call Brenda Cooper at 304-494-9830.

Collecting pillowcases, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothbrush & toothpaste and Valentines Day themed candy. Troop Link care package meeting at 6 p.m., at the Strickland residence.
Drop off box at Ripley library or contact Barb at 304-532-7389 to arrange donation pick up and to add service member deployed in the Middle East.

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program is a supplemental food program for pregnant, post-partum, or breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to the age of five. WIC provides food, breastfeeding support and nutrition education to families in Jackson County. To apply for the WIC Program or to receive more information call our local office at 304-372-8525 or our main office in Parkersburg at 304-428-3688.
